Company OverviewAdvanced Practice Solutions, PA (APS) was founded in early 1998 by nurse practitioners who experienced difficulty finding flexible work environments in which to practice their new skills. Frustrated by lack of options, they formed their own group and worked to obtain contracts first throughout the Twin Cities area of Minnesota and as the years passed, nationwide assignments for traveling nurse practitioners and physician assistants. APS began offering recruitment services several years ago as a natural complement to the highly specialized medical staffing agency. This division is experiencing rapid growth as medical practices discover that midlevel providers can see approximately 80% of the patients typically treated by physicians. Research has clearly demonstrated there is no difference in health outcomes for patients seen by advanced practice clinicians, and their salaries are traditionally 1/3 to 1/2 of the physician rate.APS is a small to mid-size health care staffing agency that places approximately 30 candidates a year of all specialties in permanent positions. APS is a client driven company and has high standards for providing exceptional customer service with a “small town” feel. APS offers both contingency and retained searches. The majority of our searches are contingency based (meaning there is no fee to our clients unless the perfect candidate is found) Retained searches are offered for high demand specialties. APS provides locum tenens (temporary) nurse practitioners and other advanced practice nurses and physician assistants for assignments of at least 4 weeks duration. |
