Job Description
*Overview:* The Sales Coordinator tracks assigned events, ticket orders and fulfillment. Initiates and processes material orders. Ensures all are processed and completed efficiently and in a professional manner. Ensures successful client/guest service to support Sales team goals. *How You'll Make A Difference: * *RESPONSIBILITIES - Description of duties to be performed * *Directly affect sales channel success ratio through consistent and timely coordination. Track assigned customers (contracts/payments) Initiate/process material orders. Ensure all is processed and completed efficiently and in professional manner. *Routine correspondence/mail, telephone coverage, area memos, qualify incoming calls, training as needed, maintain office equipment *Creates weekly and monthly sales reports, competitor analyses, and ad hoc reports as requested by Sales Manager and Director. Maintain client databases. *Coordinates the development, production and distribution of ticket orders and promotional/collateral materials within approved guidelines to support sales programs. Submit requisitions, proof, follow-up, pick up finished materials. Manages and organizes physical inventory of marketing materials. *Serve as inside sales/customer service for sales channel including, but not limited to all aspects of customer service, ticket fulfillment, reporting and debrief to Sales Manager. *Responsibility for secondary trade show/event support as needed both on-property and off-property. Heavy client support and facilitation when other team members are unavailable due to travel/meetings *Assist sales team and director with client customer service including familiarization tours, collateral support, and client inquiries. *Provides back-up support to other Sales Managers and Sales team as needed. *Assists the Sales Team with any miscellaneous projects and events. *Provides guest service according to Cedar Fair standard when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions, and providing directions. Adheres to all Cedar Fair and specific Park policies and procedures and demonstrates commitment to customer service in all aspects of employment. Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision. *Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs. *Other duties may be assigned. *We're Looking For:* *This position requires the following education and experience, or an equivalent combination of both:* *Education * High School Diploma or GED * Experience * 0-2 4 Years Related Experience in Hospitality, theme park or related field 2 years- preferred * Minimum Age* At Least 18 Years of Age *Qualifications:* *Ability to lift 25-40 lbs. *Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. *Strong written and verbal communications skills. *Works well with internal and external clients with strong orientation towards service. *Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs Ability to communicate clearly and diplomatically. *Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law. *Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law. *Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs. *Certifications:* Driver's License
