Advisian is a leading provider of renewable power consulting services. Our team includes world class technical experts and experienced engineers. We offer the opportunity to undertake projects that range from the smallest consultancy to world scale developments. The full-time role can be located anywhere within 50 miles of a major airport since many projects will require continental travel.

Overall Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:

* Manage and lead economic analysis, such as renewable project feasibility studies for PV, Battery Storage, and Wind generation (On and Offshore)

* Model and analysis with industry-standard software, such as HOMER, XENDEE, PVSyst, PVCase, Helioscope, or equivalent software

* Design layouts for large PV systems, using PVSyst etc.

* Support project interconnections

* Provide reviews of 30% complete Construction Designs ensuring electrical completion

* Analyze large-scale power systems for major utilities, regional operators

* Write and edit major reports and presentations for clients and executive management teams

* Present and communicate effectively with the client's senior managers

* Present and participate in external stakeholders/ public to defend the studies

* Able to complete projects on time and within budget

* Interact with senior management, clients and contractors

* Provide backup to proposals and cost estimates for projects

* Grow business through project work and client relationships

* Support new business development in pursuing new opportunities

* Publish conference papers and presentations

Qualifications:

* A bachelors' degree in electrical engineering (Master's and/or MBA preferred)

* 3+ years' experience in in the utility industry

* Experience with industry-standard software, such as HOMER, XENDEE, PVSyst, PVCase, Helioscope, or equivalent software

* PE / PEng registration or the ability to be registered in the U.S.

* A proven track record and innovative approach to engineering solutions

* Knowledge of Renewables (PV, Wind (On and Offshore), Battery), Microgrids, Interconnection requirements, standards, and interpretation for compliance

* Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills are essential

* Up to 30% Travel may be required to ensure the successful execution of projects

* Exhibit thorough understanding of governing regulations and industry practices

* Fully remote position for the right candidate with strong independent work ethic
